OTTO initially had a preorder running for March 2021 but it was sold out in a matter of hours - OTTO then delayed next shipment date to July 2021 - so its not that miracle the article author thinks it is. ;)

Btw ive ordered the 17 inch ryzen 5800 rtx 3060 model, also with July to be delivered - it was rebated to 1152€ for a day so yeah, quite a steal for german prices. :)

Acer is now a legit manufacturer and I will consider these as a replacement long term productivity and entertainment machine. They and HP used to have poor reputations.

I had purchased Acer nitro 5 in Nov. 20. From receipt of the item, it is not working. I am fed up due to loosing my son's online classes. I am doing lot of corrospodance with Acer team but yet no action.
Secondly the display is also not as per published or as per order.
Pl. Careful of on purchasing.

It looks like Intel doesnt learn.
Model with RTX 3060 and i5-10300h is in identical price as Ryzen 5600H which will be more than 50% faster in multicore and better in single core too.

The new Acer Nitro 5 is already to pre-order, months before its expected arrival. Retailers are offering the 15.6-inch edition with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, but Ryzen 9 5900HX SKUs should eventually be available. Acer has released Intel versions of the new Nitro 5, too.
