Magsafe like the iPhone, wow, having the laptop sit on top of a magnetic charging pad, I can only imagine the convenience.

You do realize Magsafe was the charging port for the Macbooks way before iPhones had it?

My 18' Macbook now has a USB C to a proprietary magnetic connection so I essentially have a Magsafe connection again.
They discontinued that years ago and decided to recycle the name for something inferior. Now if they bring *real* Magsafe back and still decide to call it Magsafe it would just be plain confusing.

This sounds all too good to be true. Magsafe, 14 inch, more ports, ditch the annoying touchbar- Amaze! If it comes with thinner bezels I'm getting two.

Apple supply chain specialist Ming-chi Kuo has issued a new note to investors detailing some of the changes expected on the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. According to Kuo, the new models will drop in mid-2021 and will include minor design changes but will most notably drop the somewhat controversial OLED Touch Bar.
