I have the same issue with this TV since upgrading to a RTX3080 and trying to play in 4k. Incredibly blurry, what a mess....
And here we are 1 year later, and Sony still has not addressed the issue. Their customer support is really terrible. Feel sorry for all the other buyers that fell for their scam!

Console graphics chips are too weak to drive it that fast to notice much...

So is the label PS5-Ready the same as HD-Ready was only 720p until we got FullHD wich was 1080p?

I have this set and have the Xbox series X. I haven't we experienced any of this screen blurring. Picture is amazing when gaming or just watching tv.

I kinda wonder if this is the speedometer that shows 150mph but the car can only go 100. I just dont believe that its a constraining problem since not even the most "hightech" computer/console can hold 4k 120 for an entire game. The numbers "seem" to point that this is a real issue. Hope most folks know this. Its more of a slight one in that 4k 120 is still only close - realistically.
My good homie there are many games that run at 4k 120fps on PC and will soon be upgraded to run on Xbox Series X as well.
Most games that people are hooked on for years fall in that category. For me it's Rocket League, for others it's League of Legends and million more titles.
Even higher quality graphics games offer 120fps while taking a graphical hit, and people (me included) are cool with that. Especially FPS like Call of Duty Warzone, where input lag and responsiveness win.
I really hope Sony figures this s*** because I have a 2017 Bravia and I wanted my next TV to be a Bravia as well, but with them advertising it to be completely "PS5-Ready" and shipping this junk, I'd have to reconsider. OPDogg out!

I thought most processing would be handled before the feed even enters the cable, and high end software decoding settings like a 4:4:4 oversampled pipeline of a high resolution file could fully load a mid-low range graphics card, and to still think that a TV, whose sole purpose is to display a moving image from an already decoded feed, couldn't even handle 4K 120Hz, and one from Sony Bravia no less, which in no sense is a budget brand just selling panels...I can only say that I'm profoundly disappointed in the state of the market and wary of what corners could still be cut unbeknownst to consumers.

These PS5 and XSX can only do 120fps consistently on less demanding games that are highly optimized. These systems were primarily designed to target a minimum 60fps at max quality levels. 120fps support is useless at this point. What is most important is variable refresh rate as it allows the game fps and tv match and maintain quality at a fluctuating frame frame rate. 8k 120fps or 4k 120fps at a high quality for that matter is still many years off.

Sony claims that it has fixed the image blurring at 4K and 120 Hz on the XH90, XH900H, X9100H and XH92, months after it released its high-end TVs. Vincent Teoh of HDTVTest has demonstrated otherwise though, suggesting that a hardware issue is the cause of the blurriness at high refresh rates and 4K.
