The real competition should be Apple's ARM chips. I'm guessing next year there will be a M2 and M3 and so on. At this rate, AMD needs to forget about Intel and go after ARM's performance scaling.

This is around the same in single-core and less in multi-core vs. the i7-10875H (1422/8121). What's the power draw? I think that may be the key differentiator.

All that remains is for manufacturers to wake up and start selling premium laptops with these AMD CPU's. Hopefully we see a change in attitude because there customers have moved on from Intel, its about time they did to.

The Ryzen 9 5900HX has hit Geekbench, confirming several aspects of the upcoming Zen 3 and Cezanne APUs. The 8-core APU will be part of a new series for AMD, and one that may overclockable.
