that is probably due to the fact that E14 and E15 use the same internals. The mainboard is designed for the smaller E14, which leaves big gaping holes.

Wait, what?!?
They've blocked the first M.2 slot with the battery screw, and thus limited it to 2242 form factor, despite the whole big huge gaping empty space inside the laptop?  :o Hilarious.

The L15 is very slight bigger in all dimensions and heavier, and in return is slightly faster.
