Lenovo made this as a special product to showcase the idea. It may not succeed. However, the problem is that they made this instead of the very successful thinkpad x1 tablet 3rd gen, which is a better surface pro version with the amazing thinkpad keyboard. The fact that i wont have the successor of this, makes me sad.

I think Lenovo had made a bold move in creating such a amazing foldable PC which looks very futuristic with huge tablet option to mini laptop option to book option where you can read like a book.

First of all, paying 2500$ on a foldable PC is not that extraordinary in my view given that a galaxy fold which is just a phone is also that much.
Also, I don't understand why people complain here about lenovo using lakefield. Tell me exactly what a typical user of this product cannot do because of lakefield? Please, concrete examples. I know being an intel hater is fashionable today, but lakefield is actually a nice little soc with not a whole lot of performance, but in order to get such a format on such a product you can't really do it without a very low power soc solution.

The keyboard and pen are more than the device itself, that's a bold move!

Seriously though, I feel bad for Lenovo investing in Intel here. I wonder if they developed this product under the promise of certain performance goals. Hasn't panned out if so.
