Nop, this was just a coincidence. I installed the update too and now my phone seems run smoother. It has also stopped doing this nonsense thing with the news magazine, that it was refreshing the news tabs without you push something..

Are the new updates the reason it locked me out my phone seems a bit of a coincidence ending in me having to return my phone and Huawei wiping everything from my phone .... Still no explanation why it failed!! 😤

Huawei has released a new update to the P20 and P20 Pro. The update, which is rolling out in Europe, contains system stability improvements. Neither device are ever likely to receive EMUI 10.1 or EMUI 11, though.
