Just the header and so many inaccuracies:
- 19% IPC increase compared to Zen2,
- 2.8x performance per watt, buy compared to Intel processors (10900k),
- not up to 26% higher gaming performance, but 26% higher on average compared to Zen 2 (more than 50% in some titles).

You are very right about the need to bring TB3 or USB 4.0 to the laptops, especially professional laptops that rely on such technologies for docking solutions (for instance, it is a must so that docks can drive two 4K monitors at a decent refresh rate).

However, PCIe 4.0 is not a priority for most laptops, because of the higher power drain, higher heat output of devices that actually make use of PCIe 4.0 (i.e., what's the point if we had to use it at PCIe 3.0 gen 4 speeds because of thermals), and there are less use-cases where PCIe 3.0 gen 4 is a meaningful bottleneck for laptop tasks. I can see how the future may change these things, but the priority should go towards fixing the gaping shortcomings: we really need TB3 or USB 4.0, otherwise AMD will be uncompetitive in the professional market.

So on the desktop they can rest easy till end of 2021 because Intel will be revealing Rocket Lake in Q1 2021 and won't catch up to AMD. By the time Alder Lake for desktops is out, AMD would again have Zen 4.

They just need Thunderbolt and whatever mess the USB4 brings to convince laptop users.  ;D  And PCIe 4.0 on laptops too. Given that laptops outsell desktops sold or custom/DIY built by a wide margin, that's where AMD needs to focus while Intel focuses on winning back desktop and servers.

Also on the video front, Radeon GPUs video encoders have lagged behind NVIDIA's NVENC and Intel's Quick Sync in quality (HEVC, H.264). AMD needs to catch up.

Heck, even Alder Lake doesn't look that good vs Zen 3 lineup...
Intel is gonna be in deep s*** starting from nov 5.

MENUDA PALIZA DE AMD A INTEL

INTEL se retrasa otros casi 5 meses con este Rocket Lake-S uffff la cosa pinta mal en intel ALGO esta pasando y nadie sabe que ocurre......
Lo que no entiendo es: estos Rocket Lake-S salen a fianles de la Q1 del 2021 y «Alder Lake» pocos meses después practicamente para finales 2021 Por tanto quien renueve en el Q1  del 2021 estará tirando el dinero, pq a pocos meses unos 10 meses sale «Alder Lake» y sí será una plataforma completamente nueva y NO este Rocket Lake-S el cual no será compatible con la siguiente generación la 12ª con nuevo chipset (no compatible con los anteriores pero que cabrones los de INTEL) soporte para memorias DDR5 y la nueva interfaz PCIe 5.0 Aunque creo saldrá para 2022 aun quedan 2 años LARGOS TODO A 10nm++++ y Mientras, AMD dando el paso a los 5nm+. Otra vez intel intentando vendernos REFRITOS durante TODO el 2021 sin q sean compatibles a futuras versiones a precio de Oro, pero ya no engañan a nadie.
Ahora la pregunta para cuando saldrán los AMD serie 6000? con DDR5 y PCI 5.0 + RDNA3  ufffff

AMD has revealed the much anticipated Zen 3 Vermeer lineup today led by the flagship Ryzen 9 5950X. According to AMD, Zen 3 offers 19% IPC increase, 2.8x higher performance-per-watt, and up to 26% higher gaming performance.
