"..the OnePlus 8T will have 48+16+5+2MP rear cameras. They will cover wide, ultrawide, depth and macro functions respectively.."
Again we have the uselss 5 MP & 2 MP cameras. Then, companies like OnePlus (8, 8T & 8 Pro have 5MP & 2MP cameras) & Xiaomi (Mi 10 & Mi Note 10 have 2MP cameras) wonder why they unable to sell $800-1000 phones while Samsung is able to.

Samsung is very careful about the camera sensors they are putting in their phones. The Note 20 (& Ultra too) has only 3 cameras (108 MP+12 MP+ 12MP) & S20 (Plus & Ultra too) has 3 cameras (64MP+12MP+12MP) too,  but all are outstanding individually.

OnePlus is scheduled to launch its usual late-year flagship phone refresh, the 8T, on October 14, 2020. However, tipsters claim to have found out how many rear cameras the phone will have, as well as the function of each sensor. Furthermore, there are now rumors that it may be slightly shorter than the 8 Pro, yet still have the same depth.
