I have been using the Gemibook for a couple of days. Indeed during some tasks it feels a bit sluggish and the keyboard is somewhat meh, but hey it's a really cheap but awesome looking device! The screen is superb for the money, really sharp and great contrast and the laptop feels well built (all metal design). If it is just for browsing the web/pictures and youtube/movies, it's a good choice.

Although the laptop comes with a proprietary charger, it can be charged via USB C through PD 2 protocol.

Are you certain it cannot be charged via usb-c? The aliexpress page indicates it supports usb-pd 2.0 charging (20v 2a).

hmm. $289 on sale makes it very tempting as I've had matebook x pro, but didn't really care for performance as I just wanted an awesome looking screen to browse reddit and Netflix on an ultrabook format.

Super tempted! Thank you for this review

What type of slots are the M.2? M or B ?
I mean do they support Pci-e or only SATA ?
Thanks for your feedback

The 13-inch Chuwi GemiBook offers the best 3:2 display you can find in this price range. Unfortunately, that nice display comes at the cost of subpar processor performance and an unreliable keyboard.
