Please edit your review to point out that your pre-production model is apparently the only one they made.  People who ordered on Indiegogo a year ago have received nothing from this apparent criminal scammer.  (I'm sure you don't want to be considered their accomplice.)

Hello,

Should I get the 1080p version or 4k version just for programming? I'm going to use it for color grading to, but I will view the video and photos on my main screen anyway.

You should bother wasting your money.  This company takes money and doesn't ship products.

Notebookcheck@ you doesn't have any concern as acting as a platform for scammers.
what is next? Escobar inc sends you a 24k Galaxy Fold, that they then get you to say in your article that people can purchase for 400 USD on a site with only western union and bank transfers etc.
from the looks of it, it sounds like many people have been scammed with this product you promoted for all your viewers.
I don't know where Notebookcheck is from, or what morals they have or what agenda this Allan Ngo have..
and what kind of morals Notebookcheck have to their site, as it does vary acroos the globe and I doubt this site is from Scandinavia where they useally are the worlds most honest people on transperancy world index
but be careful that you're not used as a plateau for scammers seeking possible victims amongst your readers..

QuoteColor temperature in particular is slightly warmer than it should be.

Is it? You measured a white point with a CCT of 6439K. While it is too green (as can be seen in the "RGB balance" graph), the ΔE 2000 between a "daylight" 6439K (x=0.31449, y=0.33074) and D65 is just 0.96, and that assumes that one wants D65 in the first place.

Is this monitor legit? I've backed it on indiegogo and currently they've gone dark. Can anyone confirm if this is real monitor and a real monitor review?

I would love to see proof that the previous poster ever received anything. I was back 146 and have seen or heard NOTHING they have gone dark and are unreachable.

I got mine. Bought on kickstarter as a super early bird. The only thing I did not receive was a $30 phone to monitor cable I paid in addition to it. Maybe it will arrive later...

SCAM ALERT!!
I would suggest people read the comments in the update section of Indiegogo before buying-

So Taihe Gemini and Odake BladeX both are from Gadget Labs. Gemini got more than 1million in funding from Indiegogo and from Kickstarter, and the KS backers never got theirs. Instead of fulfilling the KS backers, you just make more campaigns that make tons of money. That makes me worried to back your new project.

Our measurements are always done in-house. Our independent instruments can confirm the manufacturer claim of 300 nits and 1200:1 contrast ratio. However, we are recording far longer response times than the manufacturer claim of 4 ms. There is more ghosting than what the OEM is letting on.

Did you do a hands on test or was this from specs on a press release?

There's almost no excuse to not have a secondary display anymore. The Odake BladeX makes adding a display even easier no matter where you might need it including at the office, on the couch, or even on the plane.
