Those Carmel custom cores are still ARMv8 ISA compliant, so they'll run arm code.
Nvidia themselves have a "Jetson Nano Next" on their roadmap for 2021, which seems to be the most likely candidate for a Switch upgrade/successor. What I don't know is the power cost of something like DLSS, but if it's lower power than increasing traditional rendering capabilities, then I would also expect to see it.

Do some analyst before spreading false info.
For first Xavier uses Carmel custom cores.
Its enough to say it will not work. As it doesn't run ARM code.
Second 512 GPU core must clock very high to get 1.4Tflop, we all know that Nintendo underclocked TegraX1 to reach effect and do not burn our fingers. -- its 30W for the Xavier version.
... and latest, 10W version of Xavier uses less 384cores at up to 800Mhz to reach barely 614Gflop.
