That's very sad news they using just a 765G for their next flagship  phone.
I was waiting for something big from google pixel team, like 865+ or 870!!

Real sad news! :/

This has been known for a long time. The fact is high end snapdragon with 5g modem is expensive. This would still be a similar/slightly faster speed compared to the pixel 3 except for gaming which will be a fair bit slower.

this so called "leak" is garbage

either the phone has a 6.67 inch screen or it has a 3080mah battery (which is itself hard to believe since the 4a has a 3140mah battery), not both

the pixel 4xl had 3700mah, if this phone is as big or bigger it will have at least the same battery.

Google spent 10 years (6 with others and 4 on its own) making smartphones and it still manages to screw one part of their smartphones up sometimes.

Additional specifications about the Pixel 5 have leaked online. Apparently, Google will equip the Pixel 5 with a QHD+ display, which reportedly supports a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 765G-powered device will be underpinned by a lowly 3,080 mAh battery, too.
