It seems likely that future PS5 and Xbox Series X owners can expect to pay a starting price of US$69.99/£64.99 for upcoming triple-A releases for the next-gen consoles. 2K Sports has set a price tag of US$69.99 for the PS5/Xbox Series X edition of NBA 2K21, which is US$10 more than what previous-generation console owners will pay.

$100?
What you're talking?
You must've never heard of Just Cause 4(a 2018 game)? Avalanche Studios had the audacity to price that thing at $160 and it still didn't give you all the content in the game and came with oddles of gamebreaking bugs just for the developer to stop supporting it (blamed it on Windows 7, even though, it also affected W10 users as well, and it turned out to be a "save to cloud" issue discovered by gamers, smdh) because of the backlash.
I do not understand these gamers today that still preorder these micro-transactions, bug infested, poor CS, arrogant, not giving a damn dev/pubs. All just to have a few days of early access and SMALL free (if any) perks? Ridiculous!
If you're not a YouTuber/reviewer (and we all know that they do not pay for their SHILL review copy), there's 0 reason to preorder for these, obvious by now, broken at launch games.
I have a library of games that I still haven't got around to playing yet. I keep it that way too. Just like a few days ago, I've purchased 4 games from off the Steam Sale. I can't recall the last time I paid even $40 for a game. If it wasn't gifted to me, I do not buy into these devs awful practices.
Support the developer BS, damn that, I support my family and friends any day over some greedy studio.
NEVER EVER support the develops because by supporting them, this is why the gaming industry are getting price hikes, broken games at release, etc.
