Not the cheap a** China made stuff, you are so wrong and have no idea how the charging process works.

Not trusting these cheap Chinese fast chargers , usually the are very low quality and damage batteries and laptops.
China can GTFO
Who do you trust then? Almost everything is manufactured in China and it's not like Xiaomi is a no name brand that just started out, they're an established brand with a decent reputation.
Also the charger is not in direct contact with the battery, the phone, laptop or whatever device has a converter that handles the actual charging, any damage to the battery is the device responsability and not the charger.

Honestly getting a bit tired by this weird battery-charging arms race. I honestly would prefer a slow-charger (that can still charge the phone while in use) and let the battery fill up steadily, keeping temps low and preserving the long-term health of the battery
