The 4700U has been tested against the MX350. The MX350 is 50% to 100% faster in most games. The 4800U is, at most, 25% faster than the 4700U, and is nowhere close to the level of the MX350.
You can't compare it that way. MX350 paired with U CPU is 40w in total. It shuold be compared at least to 4800HS, not 4800U.

in short, not at the same time.
the biggest marketing bs about any laptop integrated gpu is here
desktop+integrated=fine
laptop+discrete=fine
laptop+integrated=lie
power limit is not magic but physics
also look at this, mx230 vs vega10

3dmark +3% for mx
gaming +42%, not counting 48fps in dota "high fhd" vs 0fps.
..
and another thing..1% lows or 0,1% is 1 frame per second for any integrated gpu. believe me, i am igpu user for 20 years and i know what happens if any windows process or task starts working during gaming. lags and freezes will always be with you.

You are overreacting with this. There can be 15W Ryzen + MX combo or 25W solo Ryzen, or ultra light 15W solo. Not everything is for gaming, not every game + Windows will perfectly load iGPU and CPU at 100%.

And even Intel marketing for Xe iGPU is to not put any MX with it.

QuoteIn short, the Ryzen 7 4800U represents a 15 W APU that can not only keep up with the processor performance of 45 W Intel chips but also the GPU performance of entry-level NVIDIA dedicated GPUs.

Almost reaching NVIDIA GeForce MX350 levels in 3DMark Time Spy, the RX Vega 8 and Ryzen 7 4800U make for an impressive combination. Benchmarked in a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 again, the results show that Renoir can easily take on Ice Lake-U laptops with dedicated graphics solutions.
