Rotierende Kameras in Smartphones sind ja nichts allzu Besonderes mehr, zuletzt etwa im Zenfone 6 von Asus oder im Galaxy A80 von Samsung. Xiaomi hat sich in einem Designpatent eine Abwandlung dieser Idee ausgedacht, bei der gleich ein Teil des Displays mitgedreht wird.
