I don't get the point of launching a 4G phone in the Chinese market now with mediatek Helio G85! if you have to launch a phone with a mediatek processor, why not go with Mediatek dimensity 1000 or 800??

Xiaomi and MediaTek has done a great job together. An all new MediaTek processor is going to take the industry by a storm.

Details about the upcoming Redmi 10X smartphone from Xiaomi have been published, and it seems this will be the Chinese market version of the Redmi Note 9. The entry-level phone will cost 1,499 yuan (US$212) and comes with a Helio G85 from MediaTek. No specific release date has been revealed yet, but it will likely come to market soon.
