According to South Korean media, Xiaomi has sought clamshell foldable panels from Samsung in the hope of mass-producing a Galaxy Z Flip-type smartphone in 2H 2020. Xiaomi is aiming to release a CNY 999 (~US$141) 5G handset before the end of the year too.
