I've been working on HP Probook 430 G2 (mine has i7 5th gen CPU) for almost 4 years. There are basically 2 issues:

1. It's annoyingly audible in quiet environment, even when idling.

2. At least on Windows 7 Pro there is a HP background service that starts all of a sudden and consumes the entire CPU, making the fan work loudly. The only solution is to force close that process.

I have had the HP 430 G2 for several months for casual web and office-type use. I have ran it with an SSD and 12 GB RAM and have had no problems on Windows 7. My version also has two WiFi antennas and no WiFi problems. Though I don't what kind of WiFi card it uses. Maybe after this review HP corrected some issues.

Hope this information helps some people.

Very big concerns on quality: bought in 2015, worked exactly 11months, then stopped working. Replaced videocard and motherboard (Repair lasted 1 month) by guarantee. After that it worked exactly 30 days! They said the matrix has to be replaced, that cannot be done by guarantee anymore :(

and also noticed, that just broadwell version could have intel 3160ac, so maybe for haswell it's bad

All on max wide channel for each standard* 40mhz applies only to N.
Just noticed MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) is for N and AC only, so nvm the WiFi part. XD

I dont have touchpad problem but I'm using generic synaptics driver not HP branded one.
For the WiFi, it could have potentially low performance on older WiFi standards because it is only 1 antenna intel 3160ac card but quite nice on the newer ones with especially good on ac.  Theoretical max speeds would be I think:

AC:200Mbps on 2.4ghz and 433Mbps on 5ghz
N:150Mbps
G:108Mbps
A:54Mbps
B:11Mbps
All on 40mhz wide channel
MB speed visible in most downloads just divide by 8

HP does not use wireless card whitelisting anymore so it's easy to replace if you need extreme speeds or good speeds on older WiFi standards. You will need to install additional antenna in the display bezel(not sure if possible) or use card without bluetooth(use bluetooth antenna , also not sure if possible)

The Wi-Fi performance of the HP Probook 430 G2 is the worst I have ever seen. The data transfer rate using Wi-Fi is 1/10 th compared to the transfer rate using a network cable (RJ-45 connector) within the same network. The laptop was tested using two separate networks and two different routers.

A round bundle. The 13.3-inch size alongside a swift solid state drive and good battery life commends the Probook 430 G2 as a portable companion. The laptop's screen proves to be its primary weakness.
