My original PS4 has been very unstable since the latest update but is booting fine. As someone that's seen all the firmwares, this is one of the worst. It's as unstable as the very early ones. Lots of crashes.
My ps4 pro won't boot probably anymore. I have only been able to boot two times but game textures doesn't load so it's unplayable. I've also noticed a weird clicking noice that I think is coming from the hard drive. Really hope Sony can fix it
With the new update I had the error message. I tried to start in safe mode but the system would not allow me to power up my controller even though it was hooked up by USB. So now I can not use my ps4. Any suggestions?
My PS4 is stuck in a boot loop as well, people keep telling me it happens with modded consoles but my ps4 is one of the original ones still with the standard 500GB hard drive. I really hope they fix it soon I can't do anything on it.
The update caused my system to corrupt saved data on a game that I was playing. I had to keep restarting it. Finally, it decided that data was corrupted. I ended up having to start game over from beginning. 😡🤬!
I have the normal ps4 and after installing I have had issues with games not loading as the disk drive has stopped and won't eject. I have had to eject the disk manually three times so far and then reinsert the disk after turning the console back on which has worked so far but is rather annoying. If it's happening to you look online and it tells you how to do it. Really easy to do and takes five minutes but is annoying every time it happens. Hope they fix this quickly.
Quote from: Ps4 usrr on April 19, 2020, 09:07:53 Just updated yesterday. No issues at all. Mine is ps4 pro cuh-72xx series. For the other guys like Anil Ganti, just download your savegames and content on a USB flash drive before updating.
It's not the saved games I'm worried about, It's the Bluray drive going kaput.

Lucky me, I didn't know that there was this much problems in that update. I updated my PS4 on Friday. And yeah my PS4 restarted 3 or 4 times during the update, but I just waited until it finally booted up completely. After that it worked without any issues. As I said before, lucky me.
