Wow, hard to imagine with Pixel's market share that they'll manage a custom SoC.

Reports a few weeks ago touted Google to eschew the Snapdragon 865 in its Pixel 5 plans. A new report has now surfaced, claiming that Samsung is working on a customized SoC for Google, built on a next-gen 5nm manufacturing node and featuring Cortex-A78 CPU cores.
