Agreed. And the form-factor is very useful for all levels of media.

The wide bezels are a bit "old skool" for smartphone devices today. The Surface Duo is essentially a phone with an attached display on a hinge. For a concept device - cool. For a ready-to-sell device in 2020 - not cool.

So pricing will either help to make or break the success for the Microsoft smartphone "comeback" device.

Also, look out for the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. Sammy got plenty of feedback for the Fold 1 - bet on them making a really competitive follow-up device.

I love the idea. But these bezels. I mean with foldables, one gets more screen estate for reduced pocket size. Its 2020, and phones with small bezels made their way even into the low budget segment. Will this be a (super-)low budget phone?

Keeping in mind that the image uploaded to Instagram is actually a low resolution sample with compression already applied to it, the quality is not bad at all. Then again, maybe this device is not even supposed to have Huawei P40 Pro image quality and should only be appreciated for its dual-hinge-screen design.
