Still no usb-c only charging.. come on.. >:(
It supports USB-C charging, and even can be ordered with a charger that is USB-C.
On the contrary, USB-C-ONLY charging is not a good idea, and I've been dealing with it for the past 2 years. USB-C PMIC is far more temperamental than just a standard barrel jack controller, has already received firmware updates to not die, and occasionally decides it doesn't want to charge at all (requiring a battery pull to restore basic functionality).
I'd rather have more charging diversity, not less. USB-C is a nice addition to standard charging, though less useful in basically every laptop implementation, since most require 20V, which is rarely ever provided by a phone charger. This means I have to carry around yet another charger, anyways. I know the VAIOs allow for a trickle charge from 5V USB-C, which is far more useful and my Thinkpad works with the rare 12V USB-C chargers, which is occasionally useful, though the functionality has come and gone with various UEFI (really EC) updates.
