IMO: It's an engineer fail to be delivering something this expensive. They got used to outsourcing their components instead of putting in the work to build things in house.

Einem neuen Bericht zufolge hat Sony Schwierigkeiten damit, die Kosten der PlayStation 5 zu senken, um zu einem konkurrenzfähigen Preis auf den Markt zu kommen. Verantwortlich dafür sollen vor allem die Preise für DRAM und NAND sowie der aufwändige Lüfter sein, den Sony gerne verbauen würde.
