The large caveat is at the end of the article noting that this claim really applies to android devices on the newer OS. Until OEMs and Google take better steps to solve the fragmentation issue, this will only be true for a small subset of devices. Also, if a patch for iOS is released addressing these vulnerabilities, it will be installed on a significant number of devices in a short period of time.

iPhones are way more secure than Androids, right? Apparently not. A new report with information from forensic experts heavily points towards the reverse being the case. Androids may now be more secure than iPhones, with a Huawei flagship being surprisingly secure.
