I bought a GPD Win 2 because I fell in love with the form factor of the Switch but wanted a device like it to play obscure indie games from Itch and little Bitsy experiments.

This device is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Good on Dell for their experimentation here! I hope they can figure out how to make a well-executed and reasonably-priced version of this. If they can, I could see myself selling my GPD Win 2 and Switch to get it.

No one cares about bezels!
Keep that phone dead-horse-beating away from this thing - or better yet, stop crying about bezels there too!

Some form of Ryzen 4000 would make sense in here. Maybe they could persuade AMD to do a custom bin for them, with only 4 of the CPU cores enabled but a full suite of GPU cores and LPDDR4X. That ought to make for solid low-end gaming performance at a TDP they can still cool within that form-factor.

The Alienware prototype, codenamed "UFO", is a portable 8-inch FHD tablet with detachable controllers designed to play PC games locally while on the go. If you ever wanted a Switch but with PC games instead of Nintendo games, then this concept might tickle your fancy.
