Samsung runs fairly decent promotions in honesty. While my S10+ is only valued at $550 if I were to trade it in today for a Note 10, I also only paid about $720 at launch for it after I factored in all the launch promotions. A $170 depreciation isn't too bad for six months, and in honesty, $550 is about how much the S10+ fetches on the used market anyway.
