Quote from: Nuno Rolo on November 30, 2019, 23:34:08I have been trying to contact the ulefone service (as banggood only gives me the option to send the phone for warranty and I don't want to be without it for 2 months)

Any tech can get jittery after a while and this is why it'd never use Ali/Bang for tech, only Amazon or similar. I use Ali for stuff like tents and camping equipment, but never tech.

Quote from: Ulympos on October 16, 2019, 16:53:43Problem with Ulefone smartphones (in my opinion), is upgrading the OS to a higher and saver level. I have to admit, we aren't whizzkids but I suggest an EASY update procedure for a normal user should be standard.

The trouble is if you let it be easy to upgrade (fundamentally change) the OS then a malicious program like an app - possibly even a malicious website, or malicious hijack of a standard website - could destroy your phone (at least the software/OS on it). People have certainly upgraded Power 2 go 7.0 and Power 3 to 8.1, so it's possible. If you are not tech people, and have no tech friends, then consider taking your phones into a tech shop.

Non-removable. Personally I think that's a shame (I'm getting a 6E) and I'd like to carry a couple of spare batteries on my long hikes, instead I'll have to take a battery bank.

My phone from the third month started to have screen problems, without any kind of drop. The screen constantly freezes and makes it difficult to use the phone. I did a hard and factory reset and it didn't solve my problem. I have been trying to contact the ulefone service (as banggood only gives me the option to send the phone for warranty and I don't want to be without it for 2 months) and after several attempts, in which I only received automatic messages, I received a unclear message where should indicate the data from my mobile phone. I must mention that after almost 2 months and dozens of messages, the ulefone only answered me once! A shame!!! I do not recommend buying any mobile phone of this brand

Problem with Ulefone smartphones (in my opinion), is upgrading the OS to a higher and saver level. I have a Ulefone Power3 and my son a Ulefone Armor 2. We're stuck to Android 7 (Power3) and 6 (Armor2).
We didn't manage to upgrade the Android OS system. But I have to admit, we aren't whizzkids in this matter.
On the other hand, I suggest an EASY update procedure for a normal user should be standard.

The Ulefone Armor 6E is strongly related to the Armor 6, even the packaging's differences come down to just one sticker. The Armor 6E is cheaper and while it offers less storage space, it also comes with a more modern SoC and better protection against the elements. In this review, we are taking a look at the outdoor smartphone in order to determine if this makes it a bargain.
