They can only ship Icelake in lower volumes due to the difficulty of ramping up the 10nm process.

So they split the line into two. Icelake is for consumer oriented laptops and has good graphics. Cometlake is for business and has better CPU performance.

Dell's XPS 13 is now shipping as promised with a hexa-core CPU for the first time. The new 10th gen Intel Core i7 10710U brings six-core performance to 13-inch form factor that until now has typically been reserved for 15-inch or larger notebooks.
