That's just operations per second, not floating point operations per second, for machine learning.

That's marketing speak for saying the GPU is 50% faster than the one in the 15W Whiskeylake(not Coffeelake because that's for 28W) chips.

They claimed the Icelake Surface Pro is 3x performance watt compared to Macbook Air, which is also graphics performance.

Microsoft has created a new ARM processor in collaboration with Qualcomm called the SQ1. The SQ1 is a redesigned Snapdragon 8cx with built-in LTE, 3 GHz max clock, a more powerful Adreno 685 GPU with 2.1 TFLOPS of performance, and 9 TFLOPS of AI performance. The features of the SQ1 processor will be exclusive to the Surface Pro X.
