An IMHO: they didn't need to wait for Comet Lake. Where e.g. the 6/12 10710U would excel is rendering, not gaming... are too many people buying these for rendering? :P

So, mercury one will have better 25W cpu then black one(15W)?
Yup, this will be the case.
Mercury White: 25W CPU with Iris Graphics Pro
Black: 15W CPU with GTX 1650 Max-Q
Strange decision that's likely related to thermals, but the GTX model is still expected to offer much faster gaming performance

Aluminium, not magnesium

We're more concerned about the thermals. Will have to wait and see if Razer learned any lessons from the Whiskey Lake-U Blade Stealth

You can just use the device in FHD resolution and it'll have little downsides as both Turing and Gen 11 Intel GPU supports Integer scaling.

Although its advisable you get FHD for battery life.

By the way, NBC editor, the low power benefits offered by LPDDRx can't be offered in an upgradeable form factor. It's a compromise.

Surely this GPU will struggle with a seemingly unnecessary 4k screen on a 13" notebook...???

It's more than just a simple Ice Lake update that everyone was expecting. The refreshed Blade Stealth will launch in September-October to be Razer's first ever Stealth laptop equipped with GeForce GTX graphics. The jump from GeForce MX150 to the GTX 1650 should offer a massive ~150 percent increase in graphics horsepower albeit likely with shorter battery life in the process.
