Given that this is an Asus phone, it will work great out of the box but become more buggy with every "update". At the final "update", it will become unusable and Asus will say no more updates to fix it. Just check out Asus's own forums for proof if you don't believe me.

I can't find any information on when and where this will be released in the US or if its ever going to be released in the US market.  Can you update the article with some info about when to expect it to be available as an unlocked phone in US markets?

The previous year's model was already a solid budget flagship phone - even if the actual release took some time. Now, it's successor is here, offering powerful technological advancements, an innovative flip camera and a large battery. We will ascertain whether or not this is sufficient in the following test.
