Bought one less than two years ago, the screen has malfunctioned and Google refuses to help. I'll never buy another Google product again

The Pixel C was released back in 2015 and received two major updates and about four years of software support in total. Starting this month, July 2019, though, Google will stop sending out security updates to the tablet. This comes after reports a few weeks ago that Google is planning to kill off its tablet business completely.
