Hello, I have used a  V145-15AST Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 81MT and it features a real DVD player.
After having read the Hardware manual, all of the iner parts are almost always easily replaceble but the keyboard!!
To replace it you have to disinstall all of the parts (system board and heat sink included!).
That is a key point to no ore buy a Lenovo like that.

I couldn't help but notice the 100%cpu usage at 180ºC and wonder how it managed to survive.

Lenovo's 15.6-inch laptop has a Stoney Ridge APU, an SSD and 8 GB of RAM on board. About 430 Euros (~$485) has to be spent on the computer. The screen and the battery life are the biggest weaknesses of the laptop.
