Nochmal nachgefragt und geklärt: inzwischen leuchtet das rote Licht nur noch, wenn es benötigt wird. Standardmäßig ist die Buchse im Headphone/Microphone-Combo-Modus. Wenn man ein S/PDIF-Kabel einsteckt, schaltet die Buchse um. Diese Umschaltung sieht man dann auch in der Realtek Audio Console.

Ist wirklich komisch, dass die S/PDIF-Buchse bei dir nicht rot leuchtet. Ich habe dir nochmal bei Computerbase geantwortet.
