This "news" has been regurgitated  dozens of times the past week on countless sites.

this currently only applies to CHINESE models.

International versions are still waiting

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is one of 21 devices certified for the latest beta for Android Q. The OEM has now made places on a program to test it available to users of the 2018 flagship. It appears that this program is best suited to developers or those used to testing potentially unstable ROMs.
