TrendForce is claiming tight demand from major PC and smartphone OEMs for the resulting oversupply of NAND flash chips in the marketplace. The consequence is cheaper SSD prices that are expected to fall even further by year's end. Prices this year are already the lowest they've been for SSDs in general.
