My model came with 4GB of RAM. How do I remove the aluminum RAM cover so i can add more memory?

Just pull it straight up away from the main board, the cover is held in place by small metal spring clamps.

I've successfully added an 8GB stick to mine without issue.

It is not mentioned in your review and elsewhere that Asus Vivobook TP412UA M.2 connector accepts both SATA III and PCIe NVMe SSD. I replaced the 256GB SATA SSD with a 1TB PCIe NVMe and it works very well.

Thank you ASUS

The VivoBook Flip 14 comes with a Core i3 processor, dual-channel-enabled RAM and an SSD. The IPS touchscreen can be used not only with the fingers, but also with the Asus Pen, which is sold separately.
