Hello everyone,,
I'm looking for a suitable laptop for the university and private.

I mainly work with Office programs (primarily Word, secondary PowerPoint and very rarely Excel). Otherwise I travel a lot on the internet. That's it.

The following attributes are important to me:
- Mobility (under 1.5kg would be great, because my current laptop, an E470, I am actually too heavy in the long run)
- Battery life (under 8 hours, it should not really be with Wi-Fi )
- investment for a longer time
- pleasant keyboard, because I type very much (I am more than satisfied with the keyboard of the Thinkpad E470 at the moment)
- at least 2 USB ports

My budget:
I vary between 900 and 1,500 euros (of course only if it is really "necessary")

What I've looked at - among others - so far (rising price):
- Thinkpad 13: almost too little battery life for my everyday life in the university
- Dell XPS 13: It's supposedly getting very warm at times, but in my job that should not be the case [my favorite]
- MacBook 12 (2017): just a port, reflective surface and the keyboard is supposed to get used to
- MacBook Pro 13 (2017): no USB-A ports
- Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon (current version): very expensive, but good battery life and the familiar keyboard would be good

Whether Dell, Lenovo or Apple does not matter, since I also had a MacBook for years.

I've been using the Lenovo Thinkpad E470 for a good nine months now, but have only been using the laptop since the beginning of October and need it for college. Unfortunately, he is sometimes very unwieldy and the battery is unfortunately not synonymous with long.

Maybe someone has a recommendation for me?

If it is one that is not in my own list, I am also open to new tips!

Thank you very much!
