Thanks for the report. However, I think the report should have made comparisons more to the actual competition, which are similar-looking 7-inch models:
1) The GPD Pocket (aka "Pocket 1" to distinguish from newer model of Pocket).
2) The GPD Pocket 2.
3) The One Net One Mix 2S (a mouthful of a name).

In fact, pictures of the Falcon and these three models all appear almost identical. The Falcon's Pentium processor compares more to the first-gen Pocket than to the faster m3 processor-based GPD 2 and One Net One. It was good to learn of the faster storage in the Falcon. As I have the GPD 1 and the One Net One (misnamed as it's actually second-gen), each 7", the 8" of the Falcon along with its faster SSD might tempt me.

Thanks for the feedback David, Windows BatteryReport reports 38 Wh, just asked Topjoy and they confirmed the 22 Wh you mentioned.

Topjoy Falcon uses a 3.8V, 5800mAH battery. That is 22WHr, not 38WHr.

Hopefully the final version is more efficient, as the Lenovo D330 with its larger 13.3-inch display gets 50 minutes more battery life at the same WHr. That'd result in near 6.5 hours. The Falcon does have a somewhat smaller screen, so it should at least have achieved this.

Not a good first impression as 5.5 hours is disappointing.

The Topjoy Falcon currently listed on Kickstarter is a mini convertible with Windows 10 and an actively cooled Gemini-Lake quad-core processor. We used a preproduction model from Topjoy for our test, running it through most of our test series. Find out about the advantages and disadvantages of the mini computer in our review.
