I bought Nokia 5.1 Plus lately and when unboxing it got upgraded to Android 10 so that I cannot compare how it was in Android 8 and 9 on this phone. The followings are what I noticed within a week after purchase. Note - the device has been reset before setting up.

** Ringtone and notification sound is too loud **
User can adjust the sound volume of Ringtone/notification in Sound settings but the minimum setting is still too loud for me. Compared to Huawei phones, Nokia sound volume setting is poor.

** Wi-Fi signal reception weak **
While the device is located to Wi-Fi access point closely, it is totally no problem. But when it gets a bit far from Wi-Fi access point, Nokia 5.1 Plus lost Wi-Fi signal often where other phones can get the signal stably. It is not sure though probably this is Android 10 issue.
It seems that this problem affects to miss notifications from time to time.

The sound problem can be dealt with by installing application which allows to adjust master volume.

When Wi-Fi related tests are performed, I think it is good to try how far from access point, the device can get signal stably.

I've read many complaints about this device. Many bugs have been found such as the screen turns off by it self, while other functions like volume, speaker, and touch works properly, VoLTE isn't working, touch sounds settings isn't working properly, battery drains really quick, etc. I need to confirm if these bugs are really happening, or just some user who experience it? Thank you.

I got this phone 3 days ago, and I can testify that I have experienced none of these things. I found out that upgrading it to Pie causes these issues. I am still on Oreo, waiting for the Pie patch. It's a fantastic phone. I love it... My only con was the SD card thing, but I can live with it.

What LTE bands does it support? The article says it support numerous LTE bands but the author does not specify which ones...The author even sees it as a pro of this phone...

The Nokia 5.1 Plus not only performs better than the Nokia 5.1 but also better than the Nokia 6.1, despite what Nokia's number system may have led you to believe. In-house competition or just confusing numbers?
