Reading the review and writing this from the device. I´ve had mine since one year, and I have to say that, for the use given, which is internet, movies, streaming, light photo editing with Lightroom, Spotify and writing notes for my studies, it´s close to perfect.
Touchscreen is accurate but glossy, so a matte screen protector is recommendable. The screen itself is sufficiently bright to use it in the shadows, but in direct sunlight... You´re screwed, once again, with a mate protector things are much easier.
The keyboard is comfortable to write on with appropiate hardness and travel, but for my taste I miss a fn lock function which i´ve seen on other devices. It isn´t noisy at all.
Performance wise... Well, as they say if you don´t stress it too much, it handles everyday tasks quite easily. I can even play Trackmania with 30-40 fps at medium settings, which is quite good considering the hardware. Edge is now much better than a year ago, and browsing with it makes the touch experience seamless. Crome also has improved a lot, now includes touch support and it is definitely faster, but I´d recommend using an add blocker to improve the experience, speed and battery life. Other apps and programs such as Premiere can be loaded, even faster than HDD devices can, but that´s it, you won´t be able to render a project, nor it is the purpose for this device.
Thermals... Well, the plastic case doesn´t help with heat disipation, so in normal load you can feel a slight heat en the right half of the tablet. But in huge loads, speccially when the GPU kicks in, heat can become a problem, as the SoC can skyrocket to 11W in a burst. in environments above 25ºC you can start feeling some thottling. nothing to be worried about though, if you buy a small USB fan, solved.
Speaking about imputs, you´ll definitely need a hub. Despite having a type C, it is 2.0. No thunderbolt, only a type A 3.0. But is nice to have a type C :)

Now my experience. I use it as a first hand device, instead of backpacking my bulky 15 incher which I don´t need most of the day. Moreover, it´s heavier, has less stamina and for daily use, it´s slower due to the slow hard drive. Even being an I7-3610QM, it has nothing to do with this puppy, with a SSD I wouldn´t say this. I bought the 128 GB model which I think is the most equilibrated capacity. it comes with a plus, as it reaches the 100MB/S speed. Overall I love it, for movies it´s perfect with its nice stereo speakers, nice keyboard and good screen with a very nice contrast. Battery life is absolutely perfect, (you can´t expect less for a 2W SoC), but even better is the fast charge. 50% comes in 30 minutes, and in less than an out you have enough charge for the day. 75 to 80% is the good threshold. With an average of 2 cycles a day, HWinfo reports only a 4% degradation, more than happy. I remark, 20-75% cycles. Recently I discovered that ThrottleStop actually works and can be underclocked and undervolted, so it runs cooler and more frugal, averaging 4W when it used to be 5.5-7W (hwinfo). 1.2 GHz @ 0,52V fits in all tasks, sometimes for standard frequency 0.5450V for mine, being 0.54 sometimes unstable. So, with these settings yo can espect the announced 10h runtime, exceed it and even forget about thermal thottling at standard frequency.

After all, this is what people wants from a device. Good battery life, decent performance. Windows experience is great (expecting to install Android). But the price... In my country, the 128 GB model is sold for 400€, I could buy it for 100€ less on last year´s blck friday. Would I pay more for it? no. Would I buy it again? Yes, but with an updated processor, faster storage (UFS) and more RAM if possible, even if it costed 100€ more.

Hewlett Packard's 10.1-inch convertible comes with an IPS touchscreen, decent battery life, and soundless operation to boot. Its performance is fairly limited - HP opted for an outdated Atom x5 processor.
