From the samples I've seen it certainly couldn't match Pixel2 as the score would suggest.

Xiaomi's new Mi Mix 3 made the trip over to DxOMark just after launch and impressed, delivering performance figures on par with devices carrying twice its price tag. The Chinese flagship may be far from the priciest on the market, but you'd be hard-pressed to find a phone with better cameras, according to DxOMark.
