I have had my LG Q7 since beginning of 2019. Got it for cheap at Metro PCS. Honestly this is one of my favorite phone I have ever had. I dont too many things on my phone other then calls, youtube, web browsing, social media sites, light gaming and this phone works perfectly for me. Especially the price I got it at. Someone else commented that this phone used to be priced at 400.00! CRAZY. But yes I love this phone.

The US T-Mobile version uses the Snapdragon 450 CPU which produces an Antutu benchmark score of just under 80,000. Also, the screen has very high contrast on the sample we have (ball parking 1500:1 or better). I can add to the consensus that the bottom firing speaker is weak on bass though it's not bad. There is some resonance within the phone when volume is above 90%. This is likely the reason that the bass response was limited by LG for this phone. You could add bass to get a sound profile somewhat like an LG V30 but you would be limited to somewhere around 75 or 80% volume after which you would likely encounter annoying resonance from within the device.

I would suggest updating the review to note that some markets use the Snapdragon processor on the Q7+. The US Q7 (non +) does use the weaker mediate processor.

This is a follow-up to my original comment. I think it's the relatively low contrast (compared to my previous phone), not the color of the text, that makes reading the text on this phone more difficult. It's annoying to the point that i might try selling this phone to get something better.

I've only had the LG Q7+ a couple of days, but I can verify the statement "Users will have to do without bass tones entirely." My previous phone, the ZTE Grand X 3, had much better sound from it's speaker. Also, as the author noted, the text has a grayish tone, which makes it a bit more difficult to read. I'm a cheapo when it comes to phones. By switching carrier I got this phone for $100, so I can't complain too much, though the tinny sounding speaker is annoying.

Agree, paying over $400 for this phone is way to much.
I got my Q7+ for $99 from MetroPCS.
Its a great phone, if bought for cheap.
So around $100 is a good price for it.
All phones are over priced, I don't want to think about flagship prices. outrages!!!

I don't know which phone did you test but my LG 7+ was last charged 2 days ago and the battery is still at 40%. Been making phone calls and browsing web too. The display is brilliant and battery life awesome. And I'm a Samsung guy. Love this phone!!!

LG's top model in the Q7 line promises users upper mid-range performance, and the new device offers the QLens AI technology otherwise found in LG's premium smartphones. But what will buyers of the LG Q7 Plus really get for their 400 Euros (~$470)? Read our review to find out.
