I, too, enjoy updates. It's nice to see the Honor 6X receive Oreo. It was launched on Marshmallow. For example, the S7 still hasn't received Oreo AFAIK.

Yay. I've been getting the occasional security patch update from Huawei on my P9 (every few months etc), and this might be late compared to the Oreo release... but it is nice to see that they are still bringing it out.

Now if only they were more timely :)

Huawei is currently sending out Oreo beta updates to users of the Huawei Mate 8, Huawei P9, Honor 6X, Honor 8, and Honor Note 8 in China. The Oreo update will likely be the final update these devices receive.
