Aus China kommen Gerüchte zum Nachfolgechip des Snapdragon 835 im Jahr 2018. Während Samsung seinen Exynos 9810 bereits im optimierten 10 nm-LPP-Verfahren produziert, soll Qualcomm noch auf das LPE-Verfahren des Vorgängers setzen. Dennoch gibt es Verbesserungen.
