Don't worry our focus is definitely on mobile technology (notebooks, smartphones, tablets) but we do also cover other news if we think our readers might be interested.

We're not joking, we do consider the movement in value of Bitcoin over the weekend to be significant. The difference from the weekend high to the point of writing on Monday was US$631 (roughly 8.3%) which is large for currency exchange. For comparison the Forex rate for EUR/USD over that same time frame had a variance between the highest value and lowest value of 0.29%, which is more typical for currency movement.

Bitcoin completed a record breaking week by hitting almost US$7600 in value over the weekend, before sinking even more sharply back below US$7000 during Monday trading.
