Good article. It can also have some words mentioning about G and Z series.
The T60 already showed the gap between IBM and Lenovo: the design was more simple and less elegant than that of T4x. The keyboard layout was changed and the quality did not match those of T4x. Also T60 was the last Flexview model, and almost the last model with 4:3 screen (small batch of T61 4:3 were the actual last ones): Lenovo was showed its cheaper standards in the very first days.
The only positive change was the AC adapter change from 16 to 20v and introduction of charge wattage detection pin.
As far as I know, the circuit of T60 was still designed by IBM (it was written in the confidential schematics pdf file).
