I will run Linux on this system, too. Looking at the CPU specifications, I expect this notebook to support virtualization:
- VMWare Workstation requires 1.8 Ghz + 64-bit + 4 GB Ram. This one has this
- Hyper-V requires SLAT (part of VT-X source:https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/virtualization-software-development/topic/283966). For VT-c I cannot be sure. However, assuming that this is Intel's latest series (not counting the 8th generation, which is not in the market yet) I would expect this notebook to run Hyper-V client virtualization. If you can get your hands on the notebook in a computer store, run
systeminfo

- For Virtualbox, it mentions Reasonably powerful x86 hardware. Any recent Intel or AMD processor should do, so this notebook does this, too.
